Kerry has been married to his wife Kali for 8 years. Together they have a blended family with a son, three daughters, and two grandchildren. He has lived in Walcott most of his 52 years. Kerry and his family are members of Risen Christ Lutheran Church in Davenport.
Kerry is a 5th generation farmer, and a small business owner. He enjoys the opportunity to farm with his father and his son in Scott and Muscatine Counties, while also maintaining investments in Davenport.
With professional and personal connections in Cedar, Scott, and Muscatine Counties, Kerry is uniquely suited to serve the citizens of Senate District 41 in urban, rural, and agricultural issues in the State legislature.
Kerry has been a member of the Muscatine County Farm Bureau since 1994 and a member of the Muscatine Board since 2010. In addition to serving on various board committees, he has served as Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President, and recently completed his term as board President.
Kerry is an organizer and former co-host of the Quad City Conservative Breakfast Club, an informational discussion group.
Kerry is an advocate for agriculture, economic growth, and conservative policies.
